Adopt A Cheetah

Adopt a cheetah

It is a sad fact that humans are likely to cause the extinction of a quarter of all known species in the next 20 years, unless we work together to protect them now.

Cheetah Adoption : The Aspinall Foundation works in conjunction with Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks in the UK to protect rare and endangered animals, and return them to protected areas in the wild.

About the Cheetahs : Moshi and Sifiso are two cheetah brothers that came from the same litter to the park in September 2011 from Africa Alive in Suffolk.

Moshi is named after a village in Tanzania and is a very confident cheetah. He will follow the keepers around when they are working near their enclosure whereas Sifiso is much less confident. He is a little more shy and will often just follow Moshi around instead of being independent. The name Sifiso means “What we wished for” in Zulu. They both love their food and amongst their favourite foods are rabbit and beef. By far their favourite pastime is watching the red river hogs in the opposite enclosure!

By adopting a cheetah today you will be giving the species a chance of survival for the future. From just £3 per month you will be helping to protect, feed, keep healthy and enriched through play, the cheetahs in care through The Aspinall Foundation around the world.
